Welcome to The Business Network South Africa (“TBNSA”). By registering as a member, accessing our website, or submitting content to our platform, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Use. These Terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy, POPIA Statement, and PAIA Manual.

1. Membership

  • Membership is open to individuals who join TBNSA as representatives of their business (typically owners, directors, or executives).

  • By joining, you confirm that all details provided are accurate and up to date, including your business affiliation.

  • TBNSA may suspend or terminate membership at its discretion for breach of these Terms.

1.1. Membership Fees and Changes

Membership in The Business Network South Africa (“TBNSA”) may be free or fee-based. TBNSA reserves the right to introduce membership fees, adjust existing fees, or revise membership terms in order to maintain and improve the network.

  • If you have purchased a fixed-term membership (e.g. annual subscription), your membership will remain valid for the full paid period unless terminated earlier due to a breach of the Membership Agreement.

  • For free or rolling memberships, TBNSA may change, suspend, or terminate access at any time with advance notice.

  • Any fee changes will apply to renewals or new memberships only; existing paid memberships will not be affected until the next renewal date.

2. Content & Moderation

  • Members may post offers, requests, resources, and events relevant to business networking.

  • TBNSA administrators reserve the right to edit, restrict, or remove any post at their sole discretion, including but not limited to content that violates these Terms or our [Posting Guidelines].

  • Offers and requests are automatically subject to a six-month expiry period. Resources and events may remain published until removed by the member or an administrator.

  • Members acknowledge that TBNSA does not endorse or verify any content submitted by members.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Members are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and relevance of their submissions.

  • Members must not post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, or unlawful.

  • Members must not upload confidential or personal information of third parties without consent, in line with POPIA.

  • All submissions must relate to professional or business purposes only.

4. External Links

  • Posts may contain links to external websites.

  • TBNSA is not responsible for the content, security, or availability of third-party websites.

  • Members access third-party links entirely at their own risk.

5. Business Conduct

  • Members are responsible for their own engagements, communications, and transactions with other members.

  • Any business transactions, collaborations, or engagements initiated through TBNSA are conducted solely between members.

  • TBNSA does not act as an agent, intermediary, or guarantor.

  • TBNSA shall not be held liable for any claims, losses, or damages arising from engagements between members.
